Diet
A good quality goldfish flake or pellet is best as the staple diet. This can be supplemented with occasional treats such as dried daphnia or frozen fish foods. They will also happily eat any plants that you put in the aquarium with them.
Compatability
They are very compatible with other coloured gold fish, sarasa comets, and shubunkins. May also be kept with other coldwater species such as weather loach and if your tank is well oxygenated and not too small, butterfly plecostomus.
